We stayed at Hotel Do Templo for a week and it was a wonderful experience. The receptionists were incredibly helpful, especially with sorting out our car rental issues. The hotel team is truly client-oriented and took excellent care of us, including our baby. The location of the hotel is fantastic, surrounded by a beautiful park with a serene lake. It provides a calm and relaxing atmosphere with stunning views of the area. The hotel amenities, such as the warm pool and jacuzzi with a terrace, were a great addition to our stay. The free wifi, efficient air conditioner, comfortable bed, and nice bathroom made our stay even more enjoyable. this hotel offers the best quality-price ratio we have ever experienced and is perfect for both exploring the North of Portugal and finding some rest and relaxation.
We highly recommend this hotel!

The location is superb. Right next to the Bom Jesus church, and on top of the hill with great views of the Braga valley. Make sure to take your breakfast not in the grotty hotel breakfast room but in the adjacent Hotel do Elevador, part of the same chain, which offers panoramic views.
The feel that erything is done on the cheap - especially the renovation that was done some years ago, with the cheapest materials available. Clearly they expect to survive on the value of the location, not on services offered.

I recently stayed at an amazing hotel with a stunning location. This place is surrounded by beautiful grounds and is just a stone's throw away from a majestic basilica. The view from the pool area is simply breathtaking. The tranquility of this venue is perfect for a relaxing getaway, although I can imagine it being even more enjoyable during the spring/summer months. The staff here are extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. They even managed to find a room with a balcony for us, despite it not being mentioned in our reservation. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had a lovely bathroom with a large bathtub. The breakfast served here is scrumptious, with a wide variety of choices to suit every taste.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful views and peaceful setting close to a city. Beautiful ambience next to a historic religious site.
They called themselves a 4 star hotel but it was really a very good 3 star but it lacked the finesse of a 4 star but it was an excellent 3 star hotel.

The Spa area, the view from the room and breakfast
4 stars is too much! 3 should be ok.

We were amazed by the very nice location of this hotel, nestled next to a UNESCO world heritage site. The view from the pool area was amazing. Despite some maintenance issues, the hotel still managed to impress us with its charm. I highly recommend this hotel for its unique location and ambiance.

Marvellously situated beside Bom Jesus, we couldn't believe the incredible view from our room across the main square in front of the church. Swimming pool & jacuzzi were a nice treat after a day travelling.
Tricky to find as not signposted.
